Stunning crisp, fresh Tiger Lilies
Please note that due to the seasonal availability of Tiger Lilies that we may substitute Orange Lilies instead.
Whilst Lilies are a lovely bouquet they do pose a safety concern to Cats and Dogs. The entire plant is toxic, and eating just a small leaf or petal can cause serious kidney failure in your cat, where as dogs are more likely to get a stomach upset. Should this happen we urgently recommend taking your animal to the Vet as soon as possible.
If you have a cat or dog, or are thinking about sending this to someone with a cat or dog, we advise selecting another bouquet that doesn't have any lilies in it.
Once you've unwrapped and washed the stay-fresh gel from your stems, it's important to cut a half inch off the bottom of the stems at an angle. This will help them get a good drink of water.
Remember to use fresh water and a clean vase, and don't forget to add the satchet of flower food. The stems can be trimmed another half inch every few days at the same time you replenish the vase with fresh water.
Lilies prefer a relatively cool temperature, so avoid placing them in the path of direct sunlight or near areas where they will be subjected to heat or drafts.
